Postcards, dating back to the early XX century, attest to the large number of floats which use to make up Cogolin's floral parade. Each association made it a point of honour to create "the most beautiful float" in the procession at the time when mimosa was in full bloom. Abandoned in the 60's, this popular festival was revived with even more enthusiasm and is currently part of the traditional festivities which take place in the last two weeks of February, halfway through Lent.
