The "Château Saint-Maur Cru Classé" is located in Cogolin, about 10 kilometers away from Saint-Tropez and takes probably its name from an old Monastery situated in the Domain.
Lodged in the west part of the plains between the majestic foothills of the "Massif des Maures" and the sea, the Domain is steeped in the History of the Provence and its wines. This provincial jewel is a magnificent bulding, dating back to the end of the 19th century, in a reminiscent style of the Moorish Spain in the 18th century.
In the distance, Grimaud's castle vestiges overlook the hill. Below, the houses and the vineyard fill in the hillsides and so with the brush and the cork oaks. Because of its "terroir" and its perfect location, The "Château Saint-Maur" is unique and aims for the excellence. Its owners have great ambitions to contrast this pretigious vineyard.
